Zephyranthes candida
Availability: In stock
White Rain Lily, or Zephyranthes candida, is a pretty perennial bulb that adds grace and beauty to landscapes. The plant bears small, star-shaped white flowers with a golden-yellow centre that bloom sporadically from late summer to early autumn, particularly in the wake of a rainstorm. This foliage is perfect for borders, rock gardens, and containers because it is narrow and green, like grass, and forms a neat clump.
Â
Plant in full sun to partially shaded, well-drained soil. The White Rain Lily requires regular watering, especially during dry spells, and grows best in soil that is damp but well-drained. To avoid bulb rot, make sure the soil dries out in between waterings. Deadhead spent flowers to keep them looking neat and to promote continuous blooming.

Supplied in approx. 9cm nursery pot.
