Weigela 'Pink Poppet'

This bushy, dwarf Weigela is an easy to grow shrub giving you attractive spring colour and a beautiful compact form. Its dark-green ovate leaves appear in March and remain all the way until the first frosts of winter. A compact and unique variety of Weigela, this shrub has an ultimate height of 0.5 metres and spread of 0.5-1 metres. The trumpet-shaped pale-pink tubular flowers bloom in late spring and early summer covering the stems in clusters of amazing colour. Its size makes it the perfect plant for smaller places such as balconies or patios or at the front of mixed borders. 

This plant can grow in full sun or partial shade and prefers moist but well drained soil. It is fully hardy so can grow in exposed or sheltered gardens and can be planted in any soil type or pH.
