Weigela 'Kostoriana Variagata'

‘Kostoriana Variagata’ is the perfect deciduous shrub for planting in a mixed border or when planted on mass to create informal hedging. It has an upright and spreading habit with its bright green stems holding opposite pairs of small, mid-green, ovate leaves with irregular creamy-yellow margins. The trumpet-shaped pale-pink tubular flowers bloom in late spring and early summer covering the stems in clusters of beautiful colour. The golden edges of the leaves turn stunning colours of orange and red throughout the autumn before they fall.  

This shrub can grow in full sun or partial shade and in moist well-drained soil. They are able to establish in any soil type and pH and are fully hardy, thriving in exposed or sheltered gardens.
