Vitis Sauvignon Blanc

Vitis 'Sauvignon Blanc' is a well-known grapevine variety valued for yielding superior grapes for white wine. Clusters of small, greenish-yellow grapes produced by this vigorous climber are prized for their crisp, aromatic flavour with hints of citrus and gooseberry. 'Sauvignon Blanc' vines enhance the aesthetics and productivity of your garden or vineyard, blossoming in late spring and ripening in early autumn.

Plant in rich, well-drained soil in a well-ventilated, sunny spot. To promote healthy growth, water frequently, especially during dry spells, and fertilise with a balanced blend in the spring. To control size and shape and to encourage fruiting, prune in the latter part of winter. Excellent for climbing over arbours, trellises, and pergolas; goes nicely with other fruit-bearing plants, such as figs and olives, for a Mediterranean-style garden.
