Supplied in approx. 9cm pots , and delivered covered in buds and blooms as pictured in season, nothing could be simpler than planting a few violas for instant garden interest and colour.

Violas are generous plants, they are very easy to grow, adaptable, robust and hardy and provide a seemingly endless and abundant flowering season, wonderful scent and such an array of flower colours, shapes and sizes, trying to choose is like being a child in a sweet shop. In short, no garden can afford to be without them!

Here we have a wonderful Yellow coloured variety, plus, these flowers are even edible, so if you’ve even a vague inclination to grow some of what you eat, these edible flowers are a good place to start. They can be used in summer salads, as cake toppings or even a garnish for smoothies and cocktails. Instagram is awash with crystallised blossoms, influenced by popular cookery shows’ such as Bake Off! and social media channels where the flowers have proved hugely popular. Prepare for your salads to get much prettier if you grow these - or you could just have them as lovely blooming plants in the garden. Supplied in 9cm pot.

More Info

The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.

We always recommend conducting your own research before consuming any plant to understand the various ways different varieties can be prepared and consumed. Be mindful of potential allergies when trying anything new and ensure it is suitable for all who may be consuming it.

Some plants or varieties can also be cultivated as animal feed for livestock, such as poultry, game, and livestock reared for consumption. Again, we advise doing your own research to select the most appropriate plants for your livestock.

Please note that this plant is sold with VAT charged at 0%. If you are a VAT-registered business, ensure this is properly included in your VAT return.
