Viburnum 'Pragense'

This fast growing, evergreen shrub is the perfect plant to add late Spring colour and scent to your garden! Viburnum ‘Pragense’ is hardy and strong, bearing attractive waxy, dark green leaves with grey felted undersides that contrast amazingly against the soft brown stems. Its clusters of bright pink buds open in May displaying beautiful small white flowers that will fill your garden with a wonderful, sweet scent. High in nectar these blooms will attract pollinators like butterflies and bees. This shrub has an upright and spreading habit with its structural stems making it well suited to planting at the back of a border or as a small tree within informal hedging. 

Viburnum ‘Pragense’ can grow in full sun or partial shade and should be planted in moist but well drained soil. It is hardy so can grow in exposed or sheltered gardens and can establish in any soil type or pH.
