Viburnum carlesii

Viburnums are highly prized for their beautiful, fragrant Spring blooms and carlesii is no exception. The Koreanspice Viburnum produces masses of white fragrant flowers, tinged with pink and these emerge from stunning bright pink buds. Their sweet scent will fill your garden and add lovely season interest to any patio or border arrangement. The dark green ovate leaves are up to 10cm long and turn stunning shades of red in the autumn before they fall. Unique black fruits then follow the blooms in autumn and winter. 

This Viburnum is very easy to grow and versatile, able to grow in any soil type or pH as long as it is well-drained. It can be placed in any light position thriving in full sun, full shade, and partial shade. Viburnum carlesii is very hardy so can be planted in exposed or sheltered gardens and will establish in most UK climates.
