Orange Princess is a double form of the well known Princess Irene variety that has stood the test of time and is a really popular Tulip. It is a beautiful sunset mix of colours, and being a full double flower, there are plenty of them.
The orange petals are flushed with purple, plus the blooms are also sweetly scented. The flowers are produced on short, sturdy stems which makes them perfect for growing in windy or exposed positions as they'll stand up to unpredictable spring weather conditions.
Tulips will often multiply over the years if planted out in the garden and are perfect for naturalising under trees and in shrub borders. The flowers can remain for several weeks, which is an added bonus early in the year when flowers are harder to come by in the garden.
