The 'Madame Lefeber' boasts dazzlingly bright red coloured blooms and is by far the largest in size among any other variety of tulip.
It can be roughly double the size of any other tulip and the striking oriental red only further sets it apart from the rest.
A stand out from the crowd variety, ideal for border or patio containers. Also known as Red Emperor.

Plant bulbs from mid autumn to winter. Can be placed in borders or container pots. These enjoy full sun or partial shade Plant your bulbs 2-3x as deep as the bulb is in height. Space bulbs in the soil roughly 2x bulb diameter apart.
For best outcome, plant in well-drained soil in full sun position or partial shade. Plant in Autumn and to flower in Spring.
