Availability: Out of stock

The adaptable and lovely perennial Tulbaghia violacea, sometimes referred to as Society Garlic, is prized for its clusters of fragrant, lavender-pink flowers and garlic-scented foliage. This plant, which blooms from late spring to autumn, gives the garden a long season of interest. Plants with upright flower stalks and narrow, strap-like leaves are excellent for borders, rock gardens, and containers.

Plant in full sun to partially shaded, well-drained soil. Community Garlic is great for low-maintenance gardens because it can grow in a range of soil types and, once established, can withstand droughts. Throughout the growing season, water frequently, letting the soil dry out in between applications. Deadhead spent flowers to keep them looking neat and to promote continuous blooming.

Supplied in approx. 9cm nursery pot.
