Tomato 'Delicious'

'Delicious' is a popular variety of tomato that is prized for its large, bright red fruits that have a rich, sweet flavour. These beefsteak tomatoes are great for salads, sandwiches, and fresh eating because they slice so easily. 'Delicious' is an indeterminate variety that yields consistently throughout the growing season, guaranteeing you a plentiful supply of juicy tomatoes.

Plant in rich, well-drained soil that receives full sun. Water the soil frequently to maintain an even moisture level, and mulch to keep moisture in the soil and keep weeds out. To control their fast growth and heavy fruit sets, support the plants with strong stakes or cages. Use a well-balanced tomato fertiliser on a regular basis. Prune to increase air circulation and get rid of suckers, both of which help stave off illness.
