Tomato 'Black Opal'

Known for its rich, dark purple to nearly black fruits, the tomato variety 'Black Opal' is a beautiful cherry tomato variety. These tiny, round tomatoes are ideal for salads, gourmet dishes, and snacking because of their sweet, complex flavour that hints of smokiness. 'Black Opal' is an indeterminate variety that gives your garden both visual appeal and delicious flavour with a continuous and prolific harvest throughout the growing season.

Plant in rich, well-drained soil that receives full sun. Water the soil frequently to maintain an even moisture level, and mulch to keep moisture in the soil and keep weeds out. To control the plants' rapid growth and copious fruit production, provide cages or stakes to support them.
