Availability: In stock
A delightful deciduous shrub, Syringa prestoniae 'Minuet', also called Preston Lilac, is prized for its fragrant clusters of pale pink to lavender flowers that bloom in late spring or early summer. With a height of up to 2.5 metres, this resilient and low-maintenance lilac is a great option for borders, hedges, or as a stand-alone feature.
Plant in rich, well-drained soil that receives full sun. To build a robust root system, water frequently during the first growing season of the plant and less frequently as it gets older. As soon as flowers finish to preserve shape and promote blooms the following year, prune. Combine with spireas or peonies to create a fragrant and beautiful garden arrangement. Savour the exquisite blossoms and delightful aroma of 'Minuet' every year.
