Squash 'Jumbo Pink Banana'

A notable heirloom variety of squash, 'Jumbo Pink Banana' is prized for its large, elongated fruits with pinkish-orange skin. Its bright orange flesh, firm texture, and sweetness make it ideal for roasting, baking, and soup preparation. This winter squash can yield remarkably large fruits, frequently weighing between 10 and 40 pounds, and is incredibly productive. Thanks to its exceptional preservation capabilities, you can savour its deep flavour all winter long.

Plant in rich, well-drained soil that receives full sun. Give plants plenty of room to grow and spread their sprawling vines. Water the soil frequently to maintain an even moisture level, and mulch to keep moisture in the soil and keep weeds out. Harvest the squash in late autumn, once the skin has hardened and it has reached its full colour.
