This beautiful and unusual bamboo will make an excellent feature in your garden. Striking, tall arching polished ebony-black mature canes and dark green leaves.
The slender, elegant, canes look perfect in a any garden setting. Not overly invasive, making it an absolute must have plant. Supplied in an approx. 10 litre nursery container at around 140-160cm tall, these are well established plants and will form lots of extra new thick black canes next season.
In the growing season, these sturdy plants will quickly produce new thick canes as tall as 6-8ft in the first year of planting - simply keep well fed and watered for best results.
The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.
