Alocasia Black Velvet is a real gem of a houseplant, miniature in comparison to other varieties of Alocasia but its stunning foliage sure makes up for this!
The leaves are velvety to the touch, with black foliage and striking veins and the added bonus of being slow growing so will not take up too much room, perfect addition to your office or living room.
Plants supplied in approx.14cm pots.
Make sure to dust all the leaves with a dry cloth every now and again, dust can impact this Alocasia's absorption of the light. Alocasias do have a dormant period in which some leaves will die, this is nothing to worry about and will simply make way for new fresh! Don't forget to feed your plant once a month during the growing season with a slow release fertiliser.
