Sorbus hybrida Gibbsii - Mountain Ash Tree circa 170cm
Availability: In stock
Known for its appealing characteristics all year round, Sorbus 'Gibbsii,' a hybrid Rowan or Mountain Ash, is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree of note. This cultivar is especially prized for its dense springtime clusters of white flowers, which make a striking contrast to the dark green, beautifully cut leaves. After flowering, 'Gibbsii' produces an abundance of orange-red berries in the autumn, which lend a vivid pop of colour to the landscape and draw a variety of birds and wildlife, providing advantages for both the environment and aesthetics. Autumn brings with it a stunning change in Sorbus 'Gibbsii' leaves, which turn from green to vivid tones of crimson and orange before dropping to provide still another level of interest to the garden. Supplied in an approx. 7 litre containers.
