Sorbus commixta 'Olympic Flame' is a stunning Japanese rowan, celebrated for its intense autumn colour and vibrant berries. In spring, it bears clusters of white flowers that attract pollinators, followed by bright orange-red berries that persist into winter, providing valuable food for birds. The finely divided, glossy green leaves burst into flames of red, orange, and gold in autumn—living up to its fiery name.
Compact and upright, Olympic Flame is ideal for small to medium gardens. It thrives in well-drained, fertile soil and full sun or light shade. Hardy and easy to grow, it needs only light winter pruning to maintain its natural shape. Plant with Acer palmatum or Sorbus 'Joseph Rock' for a dazzling autumn garden full of texture and wildlife interest.
Supplied as strong bare root trees.
