Sisyrinchium Idahoense Macounii
Availability: In stock
Sisyrinchium idahoense var. macounii, commonly called Idaho blue-eyed grass, is a native perennial flower of North America, displaying charms in the form of violet-blue flowers. The blooms are delightful, with a bright yellow centre; it flowers above the pretty texture of slender, grass-like foliage in late spring to early summer. Within these categories, plants in this genus offer cool colour to naturalistic plantings, and rock gardens, or are suitable along borders and pathways. Idaho blue-eyed grass loves full sun to part shade and well-drained soils. It is very drought tolerant once established and makes a great low-maintenance accent plant for those on the go or building a water-wise landscape. Supplied in approx. 1L container.Â
