This variety of Salvia is known for its gorgeous, rich red flowers that are on display from late spring to autumn, meaning you get a long flowering period from this plant. It is a beautiful bushy plant with glossy, aromatic leaves. As it is evergreen you get to enjoy this lovely foliage year-round, even when the flowers aren’t in full bloom. Adding this to your garden makes for the perfect splash of colour; it can be grown on its own or as part of a mixed bed or border.
This Salvia is happiest in full sun in a sheltered position. It should be grown in moist, well-drained soil – avoid clay soils.
