Availability: Out of stock

The striking perennial Salvia 'Amethyst Lips' is prized for its vivid bicolor flowers, which have a white lower lip and a rich purple upper lip. This striking plant, which blooms from late spring through autumn, gives borders, containers, and cottage gardens vibrant, long-lasting colour and interest. It is a favourite of pollinators and gardeners alike due to its aromatic, green foliage and upright growth habit.

Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Water frequently, particularly in the dry months, but take care not to soggy the soil. Remove spent petals to promote ongoing blooming. In early spring, make light pruning cuts to preserve shape and encourage new growth. Combine with other sun-loving perennials such as echinacea or coreopsis to create a vivid and colourful garden arrangement.
