Little Gem is a compact growing form of the favourite evergreen Magnolia grandiflora, a shrub that is ideal for smaller as well as larger gardens.
This Little Gem Bull Bay has an upright growth habit throughout the year with the branches covered with dark green leaves that have an attractive rust coloured underside - a great feature in its own right as the plant matures.
The large, magnificently fragrant creamy white flowers appear in late summer in to autumn, and it is at this time that they are simply outstanding in any garden - a valuable and easy evergreen.
