Viburnum bodnantense Charles Lamont
Availability: In stock
A splendid Viburnum with dense clusters of heavily scented, bright to paler pink flowers on bare stems all the way through from November to March. Dark green finely toothed foliage clothes the stems for the remainder of the year. Viburnum Charles Lamont forms an upright, often vase shaped deciduous shrub, making it a perfect choice for a shrub or mixed border. To really appreciate the winter fragrance, why not position close to an entrance or path?
This sweet-scented, winter-flowering viburnum is not named after the director of a number of Abbott and Costello films. Instead, the name honours a former assistant curator in the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
Supplied in approx. 4-5 litre containers.
