A spectacular evergreen shrub, Pyracantha ‘Orange Glow’, also known as Firethorn, is loved for its vibrant orange berries that brighten the garden from late summer through winter. Its dense, spiny branches make it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly hedging, providing shelter for birds and acting as a natural security barrier. In late spring to early summer, clusters of creamy-white flowers attract pollinators, followed by the dazzling berries that persist into the colder months. With year-round greenery and incredible seasonal colour, this shrub is perfect for adding structure to any garden.

Best grown in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. Ideal for hedging, wall training, or as a stand-alone shrub. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape. Drought and pollution-tolerant once established. 'Orange Glow' is a reliable, vigorous form, with dense growth and strong branches covered in autumn with masses of long-lasting berries. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
