A highly unusual ceanothus, 'Marie Simon' differs from other varieties with its foliage and flower. Ceanothus Marie Simon unlike other varieties makes a lovely display of pink fluffy flower clusters that bloom in summer & again in the autumn. The plant is also deciduous, unlike most ceanothus which are evergreen. In winter the bare stems are a showy red colour, so remain attractive when the plant is out of leaf. It's a lovely long lived shrub and reach an ultimate height & width of around 150-200cms, but can easily be kept under a metre high and wide with pruning. Tolerant of part shade, poor soil, drought & full sun, this really as a versatile plant. Supplied in approx 3 litre containers.
