PRE-ORDER: Rosa Rugosa - Pink Ramanus Rose - Bare Root Hedging 60-80cm - Pack of 25

Product ref: BR25850

Availability: In stock

Of the multipack bare-root hedging plants we offer, the Rosa Rugosa, more commonly known as the Pink Ramanas Rose, is a very vivid and strong species. This variety, coming in a pack of 25, is famous for its beautifully large pink flowers that bloom from summer to fall. After blooming, it produces showy, large, red-orange hips, thus adding splendour to the winter landscape and providing wildlife with an important food source.

This plant, Rosa Rugosa, is very rugged. It can be grown well in nearly all kinds of soils, from sandy to heavy clay, and equally well on well-drained to poorly drained soils, from full sun to partial shade. Some more features of this plant include disease and pest resistance, making it perfect for people looking for less maintenance of hedges. Additionally, its tolerance to salt and wind conditions makes it perfect for coastal areas. Cultivate Pink Ramanas Rose in full sun and well-drained location for best growth; keep planting well-watered during the first growing season to establish a strong root system. Pruning may be done in late winter or early spring for that desired shape, as well as to encourage new growth and blooming.
