Rhododendron Hybride Dr. Albert Schweitzer

The remarkable hybrid rhododendron 'Dr. Albert Schweitzer' is renowned for its huge, rich blossoms and outstanding performance in the garden. Gorgeous pale pink blooms with a delicate frill and a barely defined yellow-green throat are displayed on this rhododendron. The dark green, glossy leaves provide a striking backdrop for the stunning display of flowers that appear in mid- to late-spring.

This species is a great choice for borders, woodland settings, or as a specimen plant in a shady garden area because it normally grows to a height and spread of 1.5 to 2 metres. Its preferred growing environment is one with partial shade so that its blossoms are shielded from the intense noon light. It grows best in acidic, well-drained soil.

Supplied as large bushy plants in approx 5 litre containers.
