Rhododendron hybrid Sun Fire

Rhododendron 'Sun Fire' is a colourful accent to any garden, renowned for both its vigorous growth and exquisite flower display. Large, brilliant yellow flowers with a bright red-orange flare at the throat are produced by this rhododendron variety, generating an eye-catching contrast. The bright pop of colour provided by the blossoms against the dark green, leathery foliage is evident from mid- to late April.

'Sun Fire' is ideal for use as an eye-catching specimen plant or in mixed borders or woodland gardens, reaching a height of approximately 1.5 metres and a comparable spread. It needs mostly shaded soil, but it may survive some morning sun. It grows best in acidic, well-drained soil.

Supplied as large bushy plants in approx 5 litre containers.
