Rhododendron hybrid Anna Rose Whitney

The beautiful and well-liked rhododendron 'Anna Rose Whitney' is renowned for its big, vivid pink blooms that create a striking focal point in the spring garden. Every bloom has a vivid, deeper pink throat that adds to the overall colour richness of the flower. The dark green, glossy foliage creates year-round interest against the luxuriant, spherical trusses of flowers that blossom profusely in late April.

This rhododendron is a great option for producing visual impact in mixed borders, forest settings, or as a freestanding specimen because it normally grows to a height and spread of two to three metres. It does best in slightly shaded areas, shielding the blooms from the intense noon sun that can dull their vivid hues. It grows best in acidic, well-drained soil.
