Rhododendron Bluebell

Product ref: S26646

Availability: Out of stock

The charming evergreen shrub known as the Rhododendron Bluebell is well-known for its vivid lavender-blue flowers, which bloom in mid- to late spring. A visually arresting display is produced by the subtle, darker speckles and delicate, wavy edges of each bloom. The vibrant blooms on the shrub are strikingly contrasted with its glossy, dark green foliage, which makes it a year-round focal point for the garden.

Plant the Rhododendron Bluebell in partially shaded, acidic, well-drained soil. Protect its delicate flowers by shielding them from strong winds. Optimised growth can be achieved by regularly watering and mulching the soil to help retain moisture and cool temperatures. After flowering, light pruning will keep it in shape and promote dense foliage. For a beautiful and well-balanced garden arrangement, combine this rhododendron with other plants that tolerate acid, such as heathers and azaleas.

Supplied as large bushy plants in approx. 5 litre containers.
