Pumpkin Mars
Availability: Out of stock
The robust Pumpkin 'Mars' type is well-known for yielding big, spherical, vivid orange pumpkins with a smooth, slightly ribbed texture. These pumpkins have thick, sweet flesh that works well for roasting, pies, and soups, making them perfect for both culinary and decorative purposes. Because of its consistent size and shape, the 'Mars' cultivar is especially valued and is often used for autumn décor and Halloween carvings.
Â
Pumpkin 'Mars' needs to be planted in a bright spot with at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight every day to grow well. This type of soil prefers to be rich and well-drained. Because it is a heavy feeder, frequent fertilisation is very beneficial, especially when using a high-phosphorus fertiliser to promote healthy root and fruit development.

Supplied in approx. 9cm pot.
