Prunus 'Tai-Haku', known as the Great White Cherry, is a magnificent ornamental cherry tree famed for its impressively large, single white blossoms. Flowering in mid-spring, the pure white blooms are among the largest of any cherry variety and create a stunning contrast against emerging bronze foliage, which matures to green and finishes with rich autumn tones. Its broad, spreading form makes a dramatic statement in larger gardens.

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun for the most spectacular floral display. Tai-Haku is hardy and easy to grow, requiring only occasional pruning in summer to remove dead or crossing branches. Combine with Prunus 'Shirofugen' or Magnolia x soulangeana for a grand and graceful springtime display.

Supplied as strong bare root trees.
