Prunus 'Shirofugen' is a magnificent, late-flowering cherry blossom tree, celebrated for its large, double blooms that open pale pink, fade to white, then blush again with rose tones as they mature. Flowering in late spring, the showy, ruffled blossoms hang in elegant clusters and are complemented by young copper-bronze foliage that turns green, then rich orange in autumn. A truly dramatic tree with long-lasting seasonal interest.
