A charming ornamental cherry tree, the Prunus Beni Yutaka is prized for its elegant shape and brilliant spring show. With plenty of semi-double, light pink blooms that contrast beautifully with its black limbs, it comes alive in early to mid-spring. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, these flowers draw pollinators like bees to your garden. The tree's lush foliage creates a rich background during the summer and adds seasonal interest in the autumn when it turns to warm yellow and orange hues.
Plant in a sunny position with well-drained, fertile soil. The Prunus Beni Yutaka is relatively low-maintenance, requiring only light pruning in late winter or early spring to remove dead or crossing branches.
