Potentilla fruticosa 'Bellissima'

Potentilla ‘Bellissima’ is an amazing compact shrub with a long flowering season and masses of colourful flowers. This perennial is smothered in saucer-shaped, vibrant pink flowers with yellow centres, which bloom all the way from late Spring to mid-Autumn giving you Spring, Summer, and Autumn colour! The strong red stems bear bright, small green leaves that give this shrub a lovely green colour before the leaves turn understated shades of yellow and fall in winter. This is a hardy, drought-tolerant shrub perfect for a sunny border, rock garden, or container display adding colour and interest for many months. Low-growing and mound-forming, ‘Bellissima’ can be used as ground cover or as a small-medium shrub.

Shrubby Cinquefoils are best planted in a well-drained area exposed to either full sun or partial shade. It is hardy so can grow in exposed or sheltered gardens and is able to establish in all soil types and pH.
