Polystichum tsus-simense - Korean Rock Fern

The Korean Rock Fern is a compact and neat fern variety that remains evergreen in all but the harshest of weathers, with interesting black veined green fronds. 

In nature, Polystichum tsus-simense is found on forest floors and rocky slopes and thus makes a perfect fern for growing in the rocky fern garden or at the front of a shaded border. This lovely fern will form neat clumps in moist but well drained soil and can also be grown successfully as a houseplant if desired. It is excellent in shady spots or amongst rocks in a shaded rock garden. It is also often used in flower arrangements and by florists for corsage work. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
