Podocarpus Chocolate Box

Podocarpus ‘Chocolate Box’ is a gorgeous shrub that gets its name from its chocolate-coloured winter foliage after it is darkened by frost. For the rest of the year the leaves are dark red-green. This plant makes a great addition to a garden for some winter interest; evergreen plants like this one are a must-have to keep your garden looking lush year-round. This is a low growing shrub making it perfect for the front of a border or to fill in gaps in lower planting.

Grow this plant in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
