Plum - Prunus Reine Claude Verte - Greengage
Availability: Out of stock
This gorgeous plum tree produces delicious yellow-green fruit in the summer, following a stunning display of white flowers in the spring. The great thing about this tree is that its self-pollinating, so you only need one in your garden for it to produce fruit.
This plant will appreciate a sheltered spot in your garden that receives full sun. It will thrive in any soil type except for chalk as long as the soil is well-drained and kept moist. This plant may require some pruning as it grows, including shaping in the summer and thinning the fruit out; if too much fruit is growing, it won't receive all the nutrients it needs to become ripe and delicious. Having a few less plums growing means they will taste great.
Pot Grown Plant Supplied in approx 7.5 litre containers.
