One of the original Pink forms of Cordyline, the stunning Southern Splendour remains ones of the best, with attractive pink margined foliaged and an easy going constitution.
Pink Cordyline Southern Splendour is perfect for adding garden interest to your beds and borders or patio planters, offering an unusual colour choice that is quite different to other varieties you may have seen before. Dark bronze foliage with a wide, distinctive pink edging. The bright pink colouration is combined with tactile foliage, bold arching leaves that are almost reminiscent of a phormium.
<p">With hardly any green visible in the leaves, the colouration is truly stunning. It will make a lovely container plant for a patio where its leaves can be gently stirred by the breeze. These Cordylines can be drought resistant plants too, so are ideal for the gardener who occasionally forgets to water on those hottest days - although of course they will benefit from being kept moist during the hottest weather.
