Pieris japonica "White Rim" is a gorgeous evergreen shrub that adds interest to the garden all year round. Distinguished by its glossy, dark green leaves that contrast beautifully with a striking white margin, with new growth shaded pink-red. 'White Rim' adds a delicate touch to its sturdy foliage with its graceful clusters of bell-shaped white flowers that bloom in early spring. This low-maintenance shrub looks great in borders or as a stand-alone feature and is ideal for shady spots.

Plant in partially shaded, acidic soil that's retentive of moisture, yet free draining. To keep the soil moist in summer, mulch it each Spring. After flowering, lightly prune to preserve shape and promote new growth. For a spectacular display, pair with rhododendrons and azaleas.
