Product ref: S21385

Availability: Out of stock

A smart looking evergreen shrub that merits a place in any garden for its seasonal displays and neat tidy appearance. In spring shoots of fiery red foliage appear on shoots tips of mid green, leathery leaves. To accompany this display of bright growth, clusters of small white bell-shaped flowers appear. The combination of all these factors make for an impressive display and these characteristics will persist well into the summer months. In late summer buds appear ready for the next years flowers; this along with the attractive evergreen leaves make for great winter attraction. Pieris likes an acid soil and will grow in shady conditions, making it perfect for an understory planting in a woodland garden setting. It will, however, also grow in a container if you have a patio or balcony garden. This Pieris is a smallish shrub growing up to one and half metres and looks great if planted as a small group if space allows.

Supplied in approx. 2-3 litre containers.
