Pieris japonica Prelude
Availability: In stock
A real gem of a shrub that warrants a spot in any garden. Its compact physique consists of leaves that are bright red to orange when they appear as shoots in the spring and later change leathery dark green as the season moves on. It reaches a height and spread of up to one meter and is happiest in partial shade but also grows well in full sun. Masses of pure white flowers, similar to those of lily-of-the-valley, are produced in the spring which carry a lovely fragrance. This Pieris is a dwarf evergreen shrub.
