Perovskia Atriplicifolia Silvery Blue Russian Sage
Availability: In stock
Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Silvery Blue', commonly known as Russian Sage, is a compact, deciduous sub-shrub. It features aromatic, silvery-grey foliage and produces airy, branched spikes of purple-blue flowers from late summer into autumn.
Pair 'Silvery Blue' with ornamental grasses or lavender to create a harmonious, drought-tolerant border. It also complements late-flowering perennials like Echinacea or Rudbeckia, enhancing the garden's autumn palette.
Russian Sage is a hardy shrub, that can be grown any moist, but well-drained soil in full sun. These plants can also withstand exposed postions in the garden. Prune back hard each year in mid to late spring back to the woody stems to encourage new growth later in the year.
Supplied in approx. 3 litre containers.
