A timeless favourite, Williams Bon Chrétien is a classic dessert pear renowned for its sweet, aromatic flavour and soft, buttery texture. Producing golden-yellow fruit with a juicy bite, it’s perfect for fresh eating, cooking, or preserving. Harvested in early autumn, the pears ripen quickly off the tree, offering a short but truly delicious seasonal treat. Its spring blossom is also a magnet for pollinators. Williams Bon Chrétien is not self-fertile (pollination group 3), so it will need a compatible partner such as Conference or Beth nearby to ensure good fruiting. Prune in winter to maintain form and encourage strong growth. Grow with Concorde or Beth for reliable pollination and a beautifully varied pear harvest.
Supplied as strong bare root trees.
