An excellent option for enhancing gardens and landscapes all year round is the Pyrus Chanticleer, also referred to as the Ornamental Pear Tree. The striking springtime display of clusters of pure white blooms on this upright, conical tree draws pollinators like bees. Before changing into brilliant shades of crimson, orange and purple in the fall, the tree's glossy green leaves offer a refreshing summer backdrop, making for an amazing seasonal display.

Pyrus Chanticleer can provide tiny, inedible fruits in the late summer, although its main purpose is ornamental. Although these small, spherical pears are not suitable for human eating, they are an important source of food for birds and other species, increasing the richness of your garden.

Plant in full sun with well-drained, fertile soil. The Pyrus Chanticleer is robust and adaptable. It requires minimal maintenance, with light pruning in late winter or early spring to maintain its shape.

Supplied as a bare root tree at a height of approx. 120cm.
