Enjoy the best of both worlds with Concorde, a superb pear variety that combines the sweet flavour of Conference with the smooth texture of Doyenné du Comice. This elegant, easy-to-grow tree produces slender, golden-green fruit with firm, juicy flesh—perfect for eating fresh or poaching. It’s a reliable cropper and holds its fruit well on the tree, ripening from mid to late autumn. Concorde is self-fertile (pollination group 3), so it doesn’t require a partner to fruit, making it ideal for smaller gardens or single-tree planting. Prune in winter to maintain shape and encourage healthy cropping. Pair with Beth or Conference to enjoy a long and flavour-rich pear season.
Supplied as strong bare root trees.
