Producing medium-sized, yellow-green fruit with smooth, tender flesh, Beth pears are ready to harvest from late August—ideal for those who can’t wait for autumn! In spring, it offers a lovely display of white blossom, attracting bees and adding seasonal charm. Beth is partially self-fertile (pollination group 3), but cropping improves when grown near a suitable partner like Conference or Williams Bon Chrétien. Prune in winter to maintain structure and encourage productivity. Grow alongside Conference or Doyenné du Comice for an extended and varied pear harvest.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.
