Patio Fruit Tree - Pyrus domestica Ontario - Plum Tree
Availability: Out of stock
This hardy fruit tree produces delicious plums that ripen in August. Before that, you will have displays of beautiful white flowers. The fruit is abundant and perfect to eat or use in baking – it is the tree that keeps on giving.
This tree will need a little bit of attention such as thinning out the fruit; removing some fruit as its growing will allow the rest to grow to a better size and quality. Pruning should also be done to remove any dead plant material. Plum trees like a lot of moisture so will do best in clay or loamy soils but can be kept in other soil types as long as they are well-drained and kept moist.
Supplied in approx. 5 litre containers.
