They are naturally tough, hardy and very easy to grow with great fruit quality and disease resistance. They are perfectly happy in both large patio planters on terraces or balconies or planted in the open garden. The eventual height is around 150cm.
Fruit is a medium-sized, round to slightly flat apple with a beautiful green-yellow colour when ripe. It is extremely juicy and very firm with a sweet flavour, sweeter than the well known Golden Delicious. It has a distinct 'pear' aroma when fully ripe. Usually ready to pickl in early September, it can be left on the tree longer to develop the distinctive flavour, stored fruit will last until Christmas. This tree is a slow growing variety, and usually needs no pruning.
