Pansy Plants in Bud and Bloom - Pack of SIX
Availability: Out of stock
A truly resilient mix of colourful Winter Pansies, this hardworking Pansy blend provides an incredible matrix of colour for your garden, producing a long run of numerous flowers spread throughout the plants crown all through the autumn and winter right in to spring. With their large flowers in a lovely array of colours, pansies have a compact form of mid-green foliage that reaches a height and spread of around twenty centimetres.
The great thing about Pansies is they are quite happy to grow in both sunshine and partial shade which is not so usual for such heavily flowering plants. Growing in a loamy soil is preferable but if your soil is heavy or sandy add organic matter before planting. In patio pots and planters use a good quality multi-purpose compost such as the Compost King brand which contains slow release feed to keep plants well nourished and ensure a fantastic flowering performance.
Why not underplant with some dwarf tete a tete daffodils, crocus or tulip bulbs for a really spectacular spring display as these come through and bloom above your carpet of pansy plants? Planting along the front of a herbaceous or shrub border is also a very effective way to display these plants. Feeling hungry? Viola & Pansy flowers are edible and can be included in fancy salads or crystallised for cake decorating.
Supplied as a pack of SIX, with buds and flowers in season. Colours selected at random.
